The AFP Event Moderator Program provides members with opportunities to lead engaging virtual discussions and facilitate meaningful peer-to-peer learning experiences within the AFP community. Whether moderating a virtual member meet-up or serving as a cohort chair, Event Moderators help create valuable spaces for finance professionals to connect, share insights and learn from one another.

Virtual Member Meet-Up Moderators lead interactive one-hour virtual sessions focused on timely treasury and finance topics, encouraging conversation, idea sharing, and community engagement among attendees.

Cohort Chairs guide small virtual peer groups organized around a shared professional goal or experience, such as preparing for the CTP exam. Cohort Chairs help facilitate discussions, encourage participation, and support members throughout the duration of the cohort experience.

Through these leadership opportunities, Event Moderators can strengthen their facilitation and communication skills, expand their professional visibility, and help foster a collaborative and supportive AFP member community.
