Turn Finance Learning Into Portfolio-Wide Value
2027 AFP FP&A Forum | March 22–24 | New Orleans
The AFP FP&A Forum brings together Finance and FP&A professionals for three days of practitioner-led education, hands-on learning and peer problem-solving. The program explores the function’s top priorities, from planning, budgeting and forecasting to AI, analytics, technology and business partnership.
Attendees won’t just hear what other teams are doing. They’ll practice new skills, exchange ideas with peers and leave with practical approaches they can apply within their organizations.
AFP FP&A Forum Portfolio Pass
Finance professionals at private equity-sponsored portfolio companies face both the core demands of corporate finance and the unique pressures of operating within a portfolio company.
We can help.
The AFP FP&A Forum Portfolio Pass enables all portfolio companies backed by the same private equity sponsor to patriate as a single cluster, with extra benefits. Before, during and after the event, the portfolio cluster can collaborate on shared challenges, compare approaches, and return with practical ideas that support their value creation goals.

Portfolio Pass Benefits
The Portfolio Pass allows a Private Equity firm to bring attendees from as many portfolio companies as desired to the Forum under a single pass. All participating portfolio companies within that PE firm's portfolio receive team pricing and access to the benefits below as one portfolio company cluster:
- Access to the Forum: Pass members have full access to the depth and breadth of the content at the FP&A Forum.
- Team pricing: $400 off standard registration rates for each eligible attendee in the Portfolio cluster (i.e., connected to the same PE firm). The PE firm’s operating partner or similar position may receive a complimentary registration.
- Networking: Meet with finance peers from other portfolio companies in your cluster before the Forum begins to discuss shared challenges, develop a collective approach to the Forum experience and build relationships that extend beyond the Forum.
- Tech solutioning: AFP will coordinate private meetings with selected solution providers based on the priorities and needs identified by your firm and participating portfolio companies.
- Debriefing: Compare insights while they are fresh at a cluster-specific post-Forum debrief.
- Proprietary content: Exclusive benchmarking across participating companies in your PE sponsor's portfolio.
How it Works
- The Portfolio Pass is available to groups of 12 or more finance practitioners from companies within the same private equity portfolio. For example, four portfolio companies sending three practitioners each would meet the requirement.
- For 2027, participation is limited to four private equity sponsors to ensure each group receives a high-touch, premium experience.
Who Should Participate?
The Portfolio Pass is designed for PE operating partners and Finance and FP&A leaders from participating portfolio companies, including:
- CFOs
- Heads of Finance
- Finance and FP&A directors
- Finance transformation leaders
- Finance technology and systems leaders
- Planning, forecasting and analytics leaders
