Webinar Description
Many organizations often operate with fragmented payment systems that create inefficiencies and limited financial visibility. At Stanford University, winner of the AFP 2025 Pinnacle Award, an initiative to replace an outdated system evolved into a six-year transformation that changed how the institution manages incoming payments. The result was UniRev, a scalable, integrated platform designed to streamline payment processing, automate journal postings, and connect seamlessly with financial and other central systems. In this webinar, Stanford’s Office of the Treasurer will outline the key phases of their modernization journey, from an early student club payment solution to the enterprise-wide launch of CardinalPay, and ultimately the launch of UniRev. Speakers will also discuss how cross-department collaboration was established across a complex organization, how buy-in was secured, and how internal champions helped drive sustainable change.
