Description

Payments are no longer a back-office utility; they are central to liquidity management, operational efficiency, and banking strategy. As payment options multiply and innovative technologies emerge, finance and treasury professionals must understand not only how payment rails function, but also how they impact cash visibility, working capital management, and strategic decision making. For instance, the adoption of real-time payments has enabled companies to optimize working capital and improve supplier relationships, demonstrating the practical value of staying current with payment innovations.

This two-part session offers a structured overview of today’s payment ecosystem. The first session examines the strategic role of payments and reviews the major payment rails, such as ACH, wire transfers, and real time payments, highlighting their practical implications for treasury and financial operations through real world examples. The second session explores payment innovation and discusses how broader shifts in the banking landscape are influencing corporate payments strategy, including the rise of fintech collaborations and digital assets.

Participants will leave with actionable tools to evaluate, compare, and optimize payment strategies within treasury and financial operations.
