Creating an AFP ID
1) Create an account if you are new to AFP. If you already have an AFP account, skip to step 2.
- Enter your email address
- Select No. I want to create an account
- Continue
On the new visitor registration form that appears on the next screen, please complete the information requested and create your password.
- For consistency, the Organization name should be listed in its entirety, without abbreviations. For example, Association for Financial Professionals instead of AFP).
- If you plan to take the CTP or FPAC Exam, your name should match your name as it appears on your government-issued identification.
- The primary Contact Information in your account will be used (keep this in mind for any email confirmations and AFP login).
2) Once you have an AFP Account, you can find your AFP ID# in My Account.
- Navigate to Manage My Account
- Find your ID# on the My Information page just below Personal Information.
