HOW TO USE THE APP
This comprehensive guide is designed to help you fully master the features of our mobile app and maximize its value during our conference. Within these pages, you will find detailed step-by-step instructions that will walk you through the app's various functions and intuitive interface.
Download the App
The 2026 FP&A Forum Mobile App, exclusively sponsored by JustPerform by insightsoftware, has all the important information you'll need for the event, along with features to enhance your experience.
Here's how to get started:
- Search “AFP Events Hub” in the Apple or Google Play Store.
- Click Join the 2026 AFP FP&A Forum Event
- Click “Request App Password”.
- Check your email for the temporary password to log in.
- After logging in, set a unique password.
Note: If needed, you can reset your password using the “Request App Password” link on the login screen.
Update the App Version
Make sure you always have the most updated app.
You can check your current app version from the application header > gear icon > “about this app” menu > version #
App can be updated from iTunes or GooglePlay store.

Update Your Device
To ensure your mobile app performs optimally, you'll want to ensure your phone is up to date.
Follow the instructions:
Instructions for iOS:
- Navigate to "settings" icon on your device
- Tap on "general"
- If an update is available, download it
Instructions for Android:
- Navigate to "settings" icon on your device
- Tap on "about phone" and look for the Android version label
- Tap on "software update"
- If an update is available, download it.
Allow Push Notifications
AFP will periodically push out messages to event registrants throughout the event. By enabling push notifications, you are ensuring that you’ll be able to receive key messages and reminders throughout the event.
Instructions for iOS:
- From your device's home screen, tap settings, then notifications
- Find your event's app on the list and tap its name. Switch allow notifications
Instructions for Android (Note: Not all Android phones are the same. The directions below walk you through the most common operating systems):
- Open your device's settings app. Tap apps & notifications.
- Scroll down and tap see all apps. Find your event's app on the list and tap its name
- Tap notifications, then switch show notifications from off to on
Check Saved Notifications
You can view all notifications from the “notifications” menu on the application landing page. You can also access your notifications from the “bell” icon in the application header.
Make Your Profile Visible
You can choose to show/hide your profile in the app for other app users.
This can be done through application header > gear icon > “my profile” menu > settings > Turn ON the “display in attendee list”.
You can also choose to display other information like phone, email and address from the same menu.
Update your Mobile Profile
You can update your mobile profile by going to application header > gear icon > “my profile” menu > “edit profile” icon.
*Please note that updating your displayed information in the Mobile App does not update or change your AFP record. Login to your profile to manage your preferences. Need your password? *
Create or View Your Schedule/Saved Sessions
You can add/remove sessions to your schedule using the “add/remove calendar”icon from the sessions list and session profile.
You can view your schedule from the “my schedule” option from the “schedule” menu on the application landing page.
Manage Your Privacy
Ensuring your privacy is a priority for AFP. You can choose what others would see on your profile. You can even choose NOT to appear on the attendee list. You can adjust your settings at any time through the application header > gear icon > “my profile” menu > settings.
Requesting Your CPE Attendance Confirmation
To request a CPE verification of attendance and CPE credits for each qualifying session attended:1. Record the session alpha-numeric CPE Code displayed onscreen at the end of each session.
2. Select the session for which you would like to receive CPE (CPAs) attendance/credits confirmation.
3. Click the Request CPE Icon in the session information.
4. Enter the alpha-numeric CPE Code provided at the end of the session in the applicable field. The CPE Code is case-sensitive – letters are uppercase and there is no spacing between letters and numbers. If the incorrect Code is entered, you will be prompted to Try Again.
Upon entering the correct CPE Code you will receive your CPE Attendance Confirmation to the email associated with your 2026 AFP FP&A Forum registration.
Please submit by 11:59 PM ET, Friday, March 27, 2026. After this deadline, contact Marcia Solomon at [email protected] and provide the session title and the session CPE Code to verify your attendance.
The Association for Financial Professionals is registered with the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA) as a sponsor of continuing professional education on the National Registry of CPE Sponsors. State boards of accountancy have final authority on the acceptance of individual courses for CPE credit.

Completing Session Evaluations
- Click on the session you attended and for which you want to complete an evaluation.
- In the session details, scroll down to the session evaluation.
- Click session evaluation.
- At the conclusion of the survey, you will be asked to indicate the credits, CTP/CCM and/or FPAC, you are requesting.
- Ensure that you review your responses before submitting. Once submitted you will not be able to edit or make further changes.
- Click submit at the end of the survey.
Please note that all session evaluations must be submitted by 11:59 PM ET on Friday, March 27, 2026 in order to have your credits automatically reported to your AFP Recertification record.
Taking Session Polls
- Search for the session you want to take a poll for
- Click the poll header
- Click the poll question you want to complete
Taking Notes
You can take notes within the app that are associated with any session, speaker, or event sponsor.
Follow Instructions:
- Access the session you want to take notes for
- Click the note header
- Save or email your notes
- You can access all the notes you’ve taken by clicking on the my profile icon and then notes
Downloading Session PDFs
Follow Instructions:
- Go to the schedule icon
- Click on the session for which you'd like to download a PDF
- Scroll to the bottom of the page (under the session description) to the document header
- Click on the attachment to open the document
- If you do not see the document header, the session may not include any PDFs
- From your phone, you can email the document or save to files
Connecting and Chatting with Other Attendees
The 2026 AFP FP&A Forum mobile app gives users the ability to set up individual and group chats.
Follow Instructions:
- Use the app navigation menu to clock on the my profile icon or go to application header (upper right-hand corner) and click on the app settings icon (gear image) and then my profile
- Click the settings options
- Enable opt-in chat feature and enable show in attendee list
- Use the app navigation menu to click on the attendees icon or use the global search bar (magnifying glass in the upper right-hand corner), to search the name of the attendee you would like to message
- Click on the attendee's profile
- Click the chat icon to send a message
How to Check Messages
Go to the application header and click the Chat Icon (chat bubble in the upper right-hand corner) or use the app navigation menu to select the chat icon.
You will see all of your open chats here.
